Program at-a-glance ATP

  • Length: 12 months (1 year)
  • Goal: Prepare pilots for airline operations and First Officer hiring pools
  • Minimum entry: Commercial Pilot License (CPL) with instrument rating; 250+ hours preferred
  • Estimated flight hours: 100-1200 flight hours of supervised operations (depends on candidate baseline)
  • Format: Blended — ground school, simulators (AATD/FTD), and line-oriented flight training with mentorship

Flight hour targets are individualized. The program uses a mix of single-engine complex aircraft, multi-engine aircraft, AATD/FTD simulators, and where available, airline-type simulators through partners. A standard candidate may expect ~100–120 logged training hours; additional hours are available if needed.
